Ultimate Match Fishing Season 4- Outdoor Channel - Friday Nights at 9pm
This season Ultimate Match Fishing will head to Lake Sidney Lanier in Buford, Georgia and Lake Dardanelle in Russellville, Arkansas, two of the premier bass fishing lakes in the nation. Lake Lanier, known for incredible spotted bass fishing, has been in the news recently due to falling water levels and the continuing drought that has stricken the Southeastern U.S. "It's our goal to show everyone around the nation that Lake Lanier is as good as it gets when it comes to spotted bass fishing," Says show host Joe Thomas. "If you watch the national news and you don't know any better, you'd think Lake Lanier was totally dry. It's not, and the fishing is incredible. Just wait until you see the limits our competitors put in the bag."

Lake Dardanelle in north central Arkansas has been experiencing the exact opposite problem this spring...flooding. According to our field reporter Zack King, "With the water rising into the bushes and shoreline vegetation, the fishing could be spectacular once the water stabilizes. Plus, these post-spawn fish will begin to set up on off shore structure, so I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the Title Round competitors really hammer big limits quickly.

Although unintended, the different conditions on these two lakes will present a special challenge to the UMF field. Moving from falling water conditions to rising water conditions will present a set unique challenges.
