| Ultimate Match Fishing is different. With a set of rules designed to challenge professional bass anglers in a way they’ve never been challenged before, UMF comes down to three important factors. The referee, the boat and the dreaded line. First, the referee. No other bass fishing competition has a referee because there isn't a need for one. In UMF, the Ref is essential. Why? Because the UMF boat is divided into two equal halves and the competitors cannot cast past, cross, or land a fish beyond the center line. If they do, referee Mark Randolph will light them up. | The Official Skeeter 20i Class Bass Boat is more than just a boat, it's the playing "field" in Ultimate Match Fishing. Divided into equal halves, the anglers can't cross the center line. Ultimate Match Fishing starts with first round single elimination matches. The winner moves on to the quarterfinals and the loser goes home. From the quarters, thewinners will advance ot the seeded semifinal round. One lucky angler will get a second life as the Wildcard in the semifinals. The angler with the heaviest losing limit in the quarterfinal round will qualify as the Wildcard. From the Final Four anglers, we'll move to the Title Match and determine the UMF Champion.
